London: Come Organisation, March 1981. LP record (WDC 881009). First edition, limited to 500 copies.

A collaboration featuring William Bennett, Steven Stapleton (Nurse With Wound), and I.P.S. Studio engineer Peter McGhee, recorded on Guy Fawkes’ night in 1980.

The album (taped and found sounds, noise, sonic manipulation) was designed to be confrontational (as were all Come Organisation’s releases) and takes its title from “The 120 Days of Sodom”.

This copy is an import to the US and bears a small title sticker on the upper right corner of the plain black sleeve, along with a small price sticker (a second small orange price sticker has been affixed to the A-side label.)

The large b/w cover image is present but (perhaps out of consideration to the sensitivities of US Customs officials) has not been pasted to the front (as they were for the UK copies). Vinyl excellent; sleeve somewhat worn and creased along edges, with light ringwear, o/w Very Good.

Together with:

i) an autograph letter signed from William Bennett, written in red ink on Come Organisation printed stationery, to a customer in the US, dated May 26, 1982, in which he advises on the unavailability of “the Rampton album” and encloses “our latest list” (also included);

ii) two Come Organisation leaflets: a price list (c. late 1982), and a printed statement from William Bennett announcing that “all the groups hitherto on the label have been axed apart from WHITEHOUSE.” Folded for mailing, with original envelope.
