Printed in black on pale green paper. 28x21.5cm. Illustrated, including a photograph of a teenage Charles Manson.
Features a tear-off along the lower edge intended for ticket applications (limited to a maximum of 600, the successful applicants received “a complete itinerary, map, and info sheet”). The Meat Puppets, Redd Kross (who got lost on the way) and Psi/Com (pre-Jane’s Addiction Perry Farrell) also played the gig, in front of an audience most of whom were tripping on free acid. Thurston Moore recalled in his memoir, “Sonic Life”, that “It was a beautiful night, our entry into the creative miasma that was L.A.” (London: Faber & Faber, 2023).
