The show was Television’s first and only appearance at the Truck & Warehouse Theatre, located in the East Village, but the Ramones, who had never shared the bill with Television before (and never would), pulled out at the last minute and were replaced by Blondie, one of their earliest gigs under their new name. Shortly afterwards, Richard Hell, pictured on the left in Bob Gruen’s photograph, left Television and went on to form the Heartbreakers with Jerry Nolan and Johnny Thunders.
Splash marks and soiling to lower left-hand section and three other corners; 3cm. closed tear to upper edge; 1cm. closed tear to r/h edge. Very Good only, though improved by professional restoration work and now conservation linen-backed.
