The colophon sheet prints an important essay by Bowles, who made the recordings on a Uher 1000 Report L in Tangier in 1978. The tapes, which feature Bowles reading his Moroccan kif stories, were edited by John Taylor and Daniel Webster in Hollywood, California.

Sleeve design by Graham Mackintosh. The cover illustration features a colour reproduction of the Djmaa el Fna, a watercolour by Brion Gysin (not found in the trade edition).

Discs Near Mint; linen-covered sleeve and the printed insert signed by Bowles both Near Fine.
