Lenny Bruce Is Out Again.
Hollywood, CA: private pressing (produced and distributed by Lenny Bruce), nd. (1964). LP record (LB 3001/3002). The scarce original issue on Lenny’s private label, preceding and differing significantly from the later Philles Records release. Contains 14 routines, recorded between 1958-1963, including “Guess What I Got Manny (The Clap)”, “Fat Boy”, and “Nay Nays (Tits & Ass)”.
Intended to raise money for his New York trial (Lenny went broke hiring lawyers, and he lists them all on the sleeve), Bruce took out ads. for the record in New York papers, stating “If you want it, send $5.00 to my pad, 8825 Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles”.
