Catalogue issued to accompany the exhibition held at Boo-Hooray in New York City between December 5, 2013-January 9, 2014, featuring reproductions in facsimile of the complete run of Semina.
This special edition includes a cache of ephemera contained in a pocket located inside the lower wrapper, as follows:
i) two glossy b/w photographs (15x10cm.), one of them by Ralph Gibson;
ii) a card reproducing in miniature the poster for George Herms’s 1961 exhibition at the Batman Gallery;
iii) a 9pp. staple-bound pamphlet introduced by Johan Kugelberg and printing a conversation between Shirley and Tosh Berman, a text by Adam Davis, and an excerpted text by Andrew Roth and Phil Aarons;
iv) a card reproducing Wallace Berman’s “CMN/DENOMINATOR” poster in miniature;
v) a poster for the exhibition, printed on two sides (34x28cm., folded twice, as issued);
vi) a facsimile reprint of an untitled drawing by W.H. (William House), from Semina #8 (14x17cm., folded once, as issued).
