Prints Bukowski’s account of his 1978 European trip, illustrated with 68 photographs by Michael Montfort, a mad odyssey during which he visits his birthplace in Andernach, provides an account of Hamburg’s prostitutes, appears drunk on French television, blows a small fortune at a Düsseldorf racetrack, and stands in Köln Cathedral musing about life and death.
