Item #41209 SIGMA: a tactical blueprint. Alexander TROCCHI.

5.

SIGMA: a tactical blueprint.

London: Sigma Portfolio (#3), nd. (1964). Four duplicated foolscap sheets, three of them printed on both sides to make 7pp. Stapled at top corner.

Trocchi’s development of the ideas previously expounded in “The Invisible Insurrection” (the most comprehensive articulation of the sigma experiment), including an explanation of the reasons behind the choice of the word ‘sigma’ (“to designate all, the sum, the whole”).

International Times ran a brief story on sigma in its second issue, and in its fourth, subtitled ‘A Sigmatic Newspaper’, Trocchi provided an introduction to the project (“The future will belong to those who know how to play”), inviting readers to “get in touch” via the newly established sigma office at Indica Books.

Near Fine.
