A small piece of white paper with George Harrison’s autograph inscription. Nd. (c. June/July 1966).
7x17.4cm. Harrison’s name and home address at ‘Kinfauns’ in Esher handwritten by him in blue ink for Indica Books’ mailing list, as requested by Miles when Harrison visited him at his newly located bookshop on Southampton Row.
A year or so later, after Miles’s interview with Harrison was published in International Times #13, Harrison invited Miles and Sue Miles to ‘Kinfauns’, where they spent the day, ate an evening meal cooked by Pattie Boyd, smoked grass together, and eventually fell asleep while watching Jean Renoir’s “Grande Illusion” on Harrison’s home cinema.
