Contents include “A Letter from Prison to my Black Brothers and Sisters” by H. Rap Brown, written from Parish Prison (New Orleans) in February 1968 (he writes of going on a hunger strike and his willingness to give up his life in order to achieve change: “This government has become the enemy of mankind”). Printed at the foot of the same page is an announcement of an Anti-University forum on Black Power on March 23 with speakers David Cooper, Obi Egbuna, Allen Krebs, Leon Redler, and Brother Young (all teachers at the Anti-University).

The magazine also prints David Cooper’s paper from the Cultural Congress of Havana (“Towards Revolutionary Centres of Consciousness”), and Jeff Nuttall’s manuscripts from his courses, “The Importance of Difficulty” and “The Function of Failure”, both presented by him at his class on March 16.

Old tape repair to upper left corner of front cover; faint horizontal folds, probably from mailing; last page detached from lower staple; light creasing; o/w a Very Good copy of the Anti-University’s one and only magazine, and rare thus.
